The Designated Institutional Official (DIO) must replace the Program Director (PD) contact. Replacing a PD will disable their access. An auto-generated email notification will be sent to the new program director with instructions to create an account after saving the record. The new contact information is immediately reflected in ADS and on the public ACGME website.
To update the Program Director:
- Sign in to the Sponsoring Institution’s account with a DIO login.
- Go to the Sponsored Programs tab, locate and view the program where you'd like to replace the PD.
- From the Program tab, click Requests and then New Program Director.
- Follow prompts to add/update information.
