Managing Resident/Fellow AIRE Participation within a Program
Updated
After a program is approved to participate in an AIRE project, a new "AIRE" tab will appear on the program’s ADS page next to the “Reports” tab. The AIRE tab is not available if the program has not received official AIRE project approval.
To identify residents/fellows as participating in an AIRE project, follow these instructions in the AIRE tab: "
To manage resident/fellow AIRE participation, first select the desired project from the AIRE Project dropdown.
To indicate participation for a resident/fellow, a Start Date must be added.
To indicate a resident/fellow as no longer participating in AIRE, an End Date must be added. A comment must be present to save a resident/fellow with an End Date. Residents/fellows will be shown as not participating, or inactive, on the Resident/Fellow Roster if an End Date exists, and the End Date is in the past or on today's date.
To add or change a Start Date, End Date, or Comment for one resident/fellow, click the "Edit" button next to that resident/fellow.
To add or change a Start Date, End Date, or Comment for multiple residents/fellows, check the boxes next to the desired residents/fellows, and click "Set Bulk Update Values" at the top of the page. Click the "Select All" box to select all residents/fellows. De-select this box to remove all selections.
If a Start Date, End Date, or Comment was saved to a resident/fellow by accident, and that resident/fellow is not associated with AIRE, click the "Remove Participation" button in the row of that resident/fellow. All information linking that resident/fellow to AIRE will be removed from ADS.
Once the "Save" button is clicked in the pop-up box to enter Start Date, End Date, and Comments, information has been saved, and the page may be closed. "
After the AIRE Project is no longer active, the AIRE tab will be removed from the program’s ADS page.
