At the end of each academic year, programs must indicate which of their residents or fellows are graduating in ADS. This includes verifying that the entry of their Case Log data is complete. For specialties which are required to use Case Logs there is a deadline to finish this process (in most cases this will occur on August 1st). Once this date has passed, the Case Log data on behalf of these individuals is archived and their cases may no longer be added or edited. This creates a static data set for analysis and national-level data reporting.
Not all specialties/subspecialties have a deadline. To see if your specialty has a data verification deadline (including deadline dates):
