The DIO and other Institutional Coordinators can update an Institutional Coordinator (IRC) contact. Replacing an IRC will disable their ADS access. An auto-generated email notification containing the new IRC's username and password will be sent after saving the record. The new contact information is immediately reflected in ADS and on the public ACGME website.
To update the Institutional Coordinator:
- Log into the Sponsoring Institution’s ADS account with a DIO or IRC login.
- Click the Institution tab and locate Institution Leadership.
- On the former coordinator record, click Replace or if adding an additional coordinator, click Add Personnel.
- Follow prompts to add/update information.
